As most of you may know, I was the winner of Derrick's generous contest to name Northwoods' latest knife.

It arrived today! My apologies for the poor cellphone pics.

What an excellent gentleman's knife! The ebony is well figured and sets this pattern off perfectly. Fit and finish are flawless -no gaps to be found. Pull is about a 4 on the beautifully swedged main blade, slightly more on the secondary pen. Single back spring. No half stops. Walks and talks like a country gentleman. This knife is destined to be an instant classic.

The knife ships in one of Derrick's top of the line leather pocket cases instead of a box. A very nice addition, indeed!

With the talk I've read on the forum, this one is going to be a hot seller. Get one while you can.

I picked one up, too. It's a stellar knife. I've been using it pretty heavily for the last four days (needs to be resharpened already) and I can't find anything I don't love about it.

That is a sweet knife. It looks to be a great size for a small edc or backup to a larger blade.

Looks great! A little smaller than I was expecting to see, but that seems to be GEC's favorite trick. I love the swedge on the main blade, and the shield looks great on the black background of the ebony covers. Awesome! :thumbup:

Man, I hate this thread! These Norfolks are exquisitely elegant. I've been wanting a small ebony number for awhile now...this one just looks perfect in every way!

+1. Nice and elegant frame, great size, good blade combo.
Although I'm not a huge fan of that sort of swedge on the main blade, this might be one of the best GEC patterns so far.

Totally agree, but I love the swedge I am seriously thinking of pulling the trigger on this one.

The ebony is perfect. Very classy little knife ! The ideal second in the left pocket. Think I must have one (although it could kick out my KAI DoubleCross. Well...)
