I have always loved and carried the Case Mini Copperhead, and today used it to slice open the box containing a new favorite: the GEC #62 EZ Pocket Congress. Both have great Wharncliffe blades within my city's legal limit and useful pens.

Both of these are Opinel No.8’s.
I got them both at the same time from the Garrett Wade catalog in the early 90’s.

Since then I have not seen another No.8 spear blade, only clips.

Was digging through a box and found these two gems.

A Camco and the other one is an Autopoint with Chicago on the stamp.
Both need a bit of oil and a sharpening but they are in decent shape.

Any idea of the age of these?
I am thinking anywhere from 50’s to 60’s.

1971 barlow and 1989 large hunter, as many already know the hunter I re-dyed with rit. More by accident than design that it ended up being very close to the 1971 color. The jigging is very close on these as well.

Amber Bone always looks the part, yet I feel it's underrated by many. I have the same Med Stockman as my car knife but I've been carrying it around the country place a lot recently, makes a very useful outdoor knife too :thumbsup:
