I have a Buck 119 fixed blade.

I love this knife. Can anyone suggest a nylon sheath that will have good fit and finish for this?

Preferably something that can be added to an LBV.

Thanks.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but I have no idea what an LBV is. I do know that many 119's, notably the ones sold a Walmart come with a nylon sheath. I'm sure I have one somewhere, but I couldn't locate it for a picture.

That's the first time I've seen the term fit and finish applied to a sheath, but as well as I remember the knives fit fine in them. They have a plastic insert in them to keep the edge away from the nylon.

I've seen alot of custom "leather" sheaths made for them, but I personally have never seen a custom made nylon. Most folks go the other way.

LBV = Load Bearing Vest

You might try locating someone who makes Kydex sheaths. It would be a pretty simple process for them to mold a sheath for your 119. Also a sheath for a Kabar might work. They're 7" blades where as the 119 is a 6" but it might be an option.

Do you mean a LBV or OTV/IBA? Spec Ops makes a MOLLE compatable sheath that will work with a 119 as will most of the other aftermarket nylon sheaths for a 6.5-7" blade. Best option would be a kydex sheath with MOLLE locks. Went with a kydex sheath for my carry knife on my first deployment and its still going strong 6 years later and 26 months in Iraq.

I may just go with a kydex.

Yes, I am looking for something that is MOLLE compatible.

Thanks all.
