I would like to start showing off some the knives I have been making this past year so I wanted to post one of the knives I just finished. This one is made from 3/16" 80CRV2. The scales are made from Elforyn which is some type of synthetic ivory substitute. I actually like working with this. Anyone else used this type of handle scale? Thoughts?

Anyway, after profiling, grinding bevels, drilling for pins, heat treating, tempering, and hand sanding this one is done. Oh and I etched this one 3 times in ferric chloride with a light sanding with super fine steel wool in between. Wanted to do something special with the sheath this time. Let me know what you guys think.
