I own the SK5 version and it's always held up great, but the 0-1 is awesome. I think I'll be making the switch at some point too

Interesting that CS has not renewed efforts to use 52100 in the new Trailmasters, Carbon V was very similar to 52100.

I wanted a new SRK in this steel... Sorry about the tangent.

We'll be making a rolling change-over to 0-1 so you will gradually see those knives appear on the market over the next few months

Does this include the SRK ?

It depends on the heat treatment used hey guys looking for a coldsteel recon scout in carbon v if any one could give me a few idies where to find one it would help

I would think yes, the knife is designed to be used in all conditions including salt water so a type of stainless is the way to go. In my testing AUS8A is very tuff!
