O1 Trail Master

    I own the SK5 version and it's always held up great, but the 0-1 is awesome. I think I'll be making the switch at some point too

    It depends on the heat treatment used hey guys looking for a coldsteel recon scout in carbon v if any one could give me a few idies where to find one it would help

    I believe the SRK will remain in 8A or San Mai

    Interesting ... does that have to do with the SRK's philosophy of use?

    In truth, I don't know the answer to that.
    I'm not a member of the R&D team and I'm not a part of those discussions

    I would think yes, the knife is designed to be used in all conditions including salt water so a type of stainless is the way to go. In my testing AUS8A is very tuff!

    why would you NOT use a machete? ....or an Axe? You don"t what you are doing!
