Odd wenger or not?

I have this wenger, which looks like a victorinox Gardner. It came in an AF switzerland packaging. The seller was a clock repair guy on eBay and he was selling it as a wenger general purpose knife. I have never seen a wenger knife like this and can't find anything on sakiwiki, etc.

I searched AF Switzerland on Google and it looks like its a company related to watch stuff; since I got it from a watch repair guy, I wonder if this AF Switzerland doesn't' have it made by wenger (and stamped by), but put in their own packaging.

Also checked Google, but can't find any info on this particular knife

I sent a message to the seller, but aren't expecting a reply for a few days.

I think you are right, its a Swiss made knife with AF markings. I found another knife on the web with AF markings and its made by Wenger.

That small blade is for levering the backs off of watches.

Yes indeed. There is that model and the way more expensive wenger watchmaker model.

I meant the picture in the OP was a gardener aka florist to some :)

Just Googled Wenger florist knife it was the 4th one down in the results. :)

Florist is the one word i didn't try. It isn't listed under at wenger's site and at sakwiki either. The victorinox version is called the gardener...with no model # or evidence it was produced, I had no idea what to search for.

I've only seen it branded under others names, ie AF switzerland. I wonder what model Wenger calls it? The site you listed has 4 or 5 wenger variants of this florist knife, but no actual model listed;they have victorinox, but they are all listed as ecoline models.

I've never seen a wenger version of the victorinox gardner, so I wonder if this model is only available in europe? That site was .ch which means its in Switzerland.

They are available here in the UK.
Seems I was lucky with my search. That's the whole problem when doing searches........How to describe what you're looking for ?????
Wenger seems to have given them a model number but no name as such.....Grafting knife perhaps? It's not clear.

Edit:
Just found a USA supplier :-)

Wenger Grafting Knives are designed and manufactured in Switzerland, and imported into the USA. England Orchard and Nursery is the sole dealer for these knives in the USA.

Interesting...site claims to be the sole supplier in the US? No wonder I've never seen em' anywhere.

I googled Wenger Model 75-00 and only 2 things popped up; the site you listed and one listing on eBay. Of course the listing on eBay is the same site selling there...sole supplier...who would have guessed :)

It is strange. You'd think Wenger USA would carry them, but it's the same here in the UK some things you can get, and others, easily available
in the States you can't. Like nobody seems to sell the Vic Sentinel over here, and I can remember not so long ago I had to buy abroad for most alox
models. My first Farmer came from the States, and my first Wenger SI came from Germany. That was only about six years ago. They were probably
available here before that but I found it hard to find them.
