Good, bad, ugly? I just ordered the Black Stallion. I like Warncllife blades and it seem like they were priced good.

I've owned one, and it was solid for its price point. Zero issues, excellent action and lockup. Would happily buy another.

Compared to other knives I've owned in that price range, it was better than Bestech and budget Kizer, on par with or better than Artisan/CJRB, and close to CIVIVI quality.

Not sure who the OEM is for them, but they do good work.

I have a few of their 'assisted-openers', and they are excellent-value for the money. Fit and finish was excellent, and the D2 blade was razor-sharp from-the-box. Most of all, they are aesthetically-pleasing too. They are great in the role of an EDC blade, and quite ergonomic. Really hard to go-wrong, as the other posters have mentioned. Hopefully, these pics will give you a better idea of their products look-like, after-the-sale. Hope this helps you out! Cheers!!

I’ve got one of their modified hawkbills and for the price point it’s a very solid knife. Their styling does lean towards the chunky side, but if you saw a style that appealed to you I’d have no reservations in recommending them.

Hmmmmm...
You guys are gonna get a whole lot of us in trouble.
Can I update my letter to Santa Claus?

I bought one of their wide belly fixed blades and was happy with it. Would I buy from them again, unlikely, but only because my taste changed. I have become a traditional knife fan, so I dont follow their products any longer. I gave mine to a friend. They have a good reputation for quality knives and great customer service.

I've never looked into this company before. Thanks for the excuse! It looks like some of their knives are made by Bestech.

Looking over their EDC selection, I see a few designs I like. Unfortunately, I also see a lot of Chinese D2 and/or thicker blade stock than I want for EDC. Beyond EDC, the Grizzly Chef looks interesting. Unfortunately, I don't think I can justify spending $89 for AUS-8.

Under one of the upcoming models, they mention changing from D2 to 14C28N and how that will be an upgrade. That shows that they understand budget knives. However good the edge retention of D2 under ideal circumstances, that's not what we get in actual budget knives. I've been much happier with the overall performance of 14C28N in budget knives. The substantial increase in corrosion resistance is welcome too. If they upgrade their Stallion to 14C28N, I'll be on board for going off grid.

I had a look at them long ago. I just browsed into their website and the presentation video in the home page seemed interesting.... UNTIL I STUMBLED UPON A GUY CARRYING THE KNIFE HANGING IT OUTSIDE THE BELT BY THE POCKET CLIP!!!!! (right after getting out o the truck if you are interested). I get they are trying to show the knife as much as possible but... damn!!! 😆 😆

Igoring that detail, I was interested in the Rapid Fire Coyote, as it somehow resembles the ZT 301 that I never got to buy. Not the same thing, not the same materials but... still like it.

Higher end models from this manufacturer seem "too black" for my taste.

I owned the higher end black mamba and it was fantastic. Excellent fit and finish.

lol Bestech OEM’s for a lot
Of their knives

Marketed as “overbuilt, tough use” blades. I would like to see a bar lock, back lock, frame lock, compression lock… instead of a liner lock. Some of their models look good though.

I have ZERO experience with 'em.

Despite that, as Dogdrawz Dogdrawz mentioned, quite a few knife'Tubers seem to like them. Caveat emptor?

EDIT- Sorry, I didn't realize the age of this thread.

bar lock i think youre calling the cloned axis locks and yep should be much stronger than a liner lock.

a liner lock made properly is stronger than a backlock and bascially equal to a frame lock. compression lock is still under a patent, I believe. so I wouldn't expect that to be used outside of spyderco. same with the strongest lock created so far the tri-ad, but not for long. it's patent expires fairly soon.

good read if you've haven't read it.....on the liner lock written by Bernard Levine on Micheal Walker and his liner lock.....

I own a smaller folder from them in the D2. The D2 is heat treated very well and it takes a wicked sharp highly polished edge. Lock up is excellent BUT the weight of the little bugger just puts me off a bit. Mill out the liners a bit and I'd be good to go though. stay safe
