that is all. New to this knife world(always loved knives, just started actually gettin into them) Picked up a few folders and want a nice fixed blade. I look everywhere and keep coming back to these damn busses. why do they have to be soo much $. Since I'm am too poor I will just continue to lurk with my jaw on the floor.

The serious Busse collectors have at least (10) of each model, you're just getting started if you only have three!

I agree with datsgor here, scoot on over to the Swamp and check out the Rats. They have that same look and feel in a cheaper format. Just scroll down to the Swamp Rat forum in the manufacturers index. :D

Now, that said, the Swamp is an introductory drug, you will only lengthen the inevitable. The Busse knives will keep calling till you relent and get one, or two, or ten.....:o
 
Hey now, quit trying to drag the INFIdels away from buying the best knives around. When you buy a BUSSE, you buy an awesomely tough knife that is also as corrosion resistant as stainless steel. You will not go wrong with a Busse knife, and you'll be the most popular kid on your block too! (unless your name is Cobalt, that is. ;) )

Welcome to the Busse Forum, I'm glad that you stopped by. Stick around and join in our discussions, if you hang around long enough you'll beg, borrow and steal to get enough money to buy a Busse. You'll also learn a lot about the knives and you might get lucky and find one on the cheap on the forums, ebay or at a knife show.

no squeeeeeeeek, INFI is one of the reasons I like these things so much from all the reviews I've read. I think I can swing the funds for a HD or something of the sort when some more are available.

No, INFI was the forge that made it.

Forget Busse knives. Get yourself a good Cold Steel or Ontario knife. They do it all. They can even fold.:thumbup:
