They look like an excellent option... and I'm going to be needing a sheath for my ASH-1. Help me decide... and some pictures please?

....or did you mean an Okuden ASH-1 kydex ?

Heard Grandsuave is making them now as well.Check em out! They look pretty decent to me.

I have more than one, but only this one has been in pictures. I like 'em and will not hesitate to get others in the future!:thumbup:

It is fitted for a Heavy AD, like the Milganzaaa ones, but even after modding the handles slightly on this 'Silverback' Black Tiger AD (same size AD, different colors) while waiting for the sheath didn't change how good it fits! :D:thumbup:

Here's my kydex from Brian...

He also has my CG ASH-1 with mags, so if you want one, you wouldn't need to send yours in! He has a mold!

#1:thumbup:....I highly recommend Brian's sheaths. Extreme constructin, great retention, primary rentention is on the handle (good for satin blades) and he's great to work with. He currently has my LE ASH1.

the main reason i prefer okuden kydex is the retention system.

scale/tang retention rather than blade retention. both do the job, but a scale retention wont mar the coating or finish.

you also get that nice positive "click" when sheathing and unsheathing.

I only have one... for my GW, but it's incredibly well made. I need to get more. Maybe now that there's an ASH1 LE with Brian, I should make a move.

+1 on the Okuden sheaths! I own a few of them and they are in my opinion some of the best built and designed kydex sheaths around:thumbup:

I have 6-8 of Brians sheaths, including the one I jst got for my CGASH-1. He did not have my ASH-1 but it fits perfectly. My sheath for my RMD (Brians thru the store) is the best fitting sheath I have ever owner. It snaps like a vault.

brian makes some of the best around, you can't go wrong with his or any of the others listed on our sheath maker page.

.

I hope a Kydex sheath from Brian will be on It's way here soon with a Red handled GW stuck in it!!

Brian makes the most bullet-proof Kydex out there. Thicker than most and tank strong. Retention is tuned to take an 18" free fall without releasing. I have a couple and they are top notch. And Brian is a great guy to deal with. Go for it.

Brian Makes awesome kydex - I got a Hellrazor at his shop as we speak .Heres a pic of a few others .

You can't go wrong with Okuden. Awesome workmanship and fabulous retention. Not to mention Brian is a great guy. Easy to talk to, very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make his customers happy.

Here are a few sheaths he has made for me.
