just wanted to post some pics I'll elaborate and hopefully post better ones later. The first one is all the parts I started with then the finished product.I started with a case cv trapper, tang stamp dates it between 45 and 64, the main blade was sharpened to nothing so I ground it down to a pen/ modified wharncliff.I used black g10 no liners stainless pins and shield. Slightly bent the pivot pin while peening it but the action is not horrible.I would Love to get some feed back.

I have been trying to rehab an old knife every weekend so far it has been a thoroughly satisfying hobby. Though I'm rapidly accumulating slip joints. this is not a problem for me but it may be for my girlfriend.Lol

Thanks
Rob

It's a very addicting hobby, be careful or it will take all your spare time. You will find yourself looking for project knives instead of complete knives.

BTW, nice mod!

Great Job! I like what you have done. Send pics of other projects when you can.
