Good Afternoon,
I have a old Ka-Bar hunting knife I got from my Grandfather. Just trying to date the thing so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Hi Bruce, photos not showing, if I could see the knife I can give you a good idea of model and age.
 
Gunsil, I can see the pics if I right click on the "dead pic icon" and select "open image in new tab". It looks like one of those black handle thistle top woodcraft style knives from the late 1920s/early 1930s that you probably have a shoe box full of
 
Wayne is correct, your knife is 1924-1930s era. Model number is 372-5 and originally had a 4&1/2 inch blade. The same model can be found marked just Union Cutlery Co, Olcut, Keenwell, KA-BAR (all Union Cut marks) as well as with retailer's marks like Folsom. Look on the blade side of the guard, sometimes the model number is stamped there if it is an early production piece.
