I recently was give the larger knife and a smaller stainless buck engraved with a dinosaur as well from my Grandmother. They belonged to my Grandfather and sat around for many years never used.
The larger knife is a folder with wood handle and brass ends on the handle.
Can someone tell me about these knifes, I can't seem to find any information online about them?
Thank You,
Paul

Welcome to the Buck forum, your first post. The knives were done for Sports Authority in 1993 with 2 different scenes, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Pteranodon. There were 2 different sized knives, the larger Buck 110 with the scene gold etched on the blade and the smaller model 525 with the matching scene anodized on an aluminum handle overlay. The overlays are fragile and dent easily so be careful with it. As you already know, the larger knife was a serialized limited edition. The smaller knives were not serialized and many more were made, about 2,000 as I recall.

Hopefully someone else has pictures to post. I'm not set up for photography at the moment.
And like David said, if you could post a picture of yours we'd love to see them.

I don't have the T-rex but I do have the Pteranodon. Here is a picture of the one I have.
