I specifically gave her a list of places to buy a knife for me from and she found "a good deal" from CC :jerkit:.....am I screwed...?? She wanted to buy me a knife and I gave her a few options and told her to surprise me BUT TO USE THE SITES I WROTE DOWN....
 
0.0 haha, this is why you MUST narrow down the options to pretty much nothing, when it comes to "knife newbies" haha...GL!
 
I just perused that site and they seem to have some solid knives. There is a lum cf chinese folder on the home page. Does cc just charge too much? They don't seem to be right on par with most of the staple sites but they don't seem too terrible. I will say, they charge more for a combo edge endura 4 than they do a plain edge. I found that odd.
 
No, Classic Cutlery just has a rep for not delivering, backordering(without notification), and just being a rude jerk. There's a giant and entertaining thread in the archives.
 
Ya know I've reviewed a lot of his feedback from this past year on Ebay and it's all positive....Do they actually stock knives now and send them out consistently on time...??
 
I ordered a ZT 0300 from them on eBay about a year ago, before I started using GBU to read up on any place I was considering buying from. Fortunately, I didn't have any problems: the knife shipped promptly (the day after I ordered it) and arrived just fine.
 
Be thankful you have a wife that tolerates you hobby, takes the time to try and buy something you like, and wants to make you happy. You are comming off as being a.... I'll just omit that adjective out of respect for the BF community. :rolleyes:
