Other than the usual Cabela’s and Bass Pro, where does everyone go for general fishing tackle and lure building supplies?

mostly I buy local, but If I can't find it then online I go.
I have used the following online shops in the past
Barlow's Tackle
Mud Hole (mostly rod building and repair)
Jann's Netcraft
Susquehanna Fishing Tackle
sportsmans guide
sportsmans warehouse

First stop is my backyard where I have some old plywood lying on the ground. . Always good for crickets and 4-5 worms.

I have a cabelas and bass pro nearby, I go there to touch and handle stuff; usually they're not the cheapest.

I tend to get most of stuff from Amazon and ebay. I've fished enough to know the brands that perform and work well...I'll google for sales and start there. Never be afraid to try new things!

Tackledirect has some crazy ads, but tend to have the best saltwater tackle selection. Walmart actually has really good freshwater stuff, same with Dicks or other sporting stores. I've recently found Fish Field to to have good prices as well on rods/reels.

The overseas made "junk" stuff usually are fine in freshwater. I've find that they deteriorate very fast in saltwater especially the rings and hooks etc....so watch out for that!

Good luck :)
