I'm no stranger to carrying the same edc folder everyday, but have been switching it up often ( started having a weekly folder a few months ago ) ever since I started going traditional.
I really like switching it up as I have gotten some traditionals that I really like and it stops me from latching onto one knife. On Thursday I bought myself a vic recruit as an early Christmas, and because it was so early I've decided to just carry it through the holidays.
So far I really like it as its got a decent tool set, it has an additional smaller blade.
A lot of people would rather have the nail tool, but since it doesn't have nail clippers I still carry my small TRIM pair which has its own nail tool, I also like having a small folding blade for various advantages. I'll never need the can opener and would only need the cap lifter if I get some Santa Claus bottled coke, but the drivers come in handy and the wire stripper doesn't risk cutting the wire lime the sharp one on my leatherman does.
I'm gonna try my best to stick with it for the rest of the year, but all the great pictures here make me want to carry other knives that I have.
I'll try and let you guys know how well it works out for me.
