Hello folks , I have this newly finished Hawk to offer up for sale . It was an interesting project to say the least .
The Head is 8-1/2" edge to spike point , it is from 1/4" A-2 Tool Steel , heat treated to an Rc. 61-62 . The overall length is 14" with the handle at 12" and a weight at 1lb 11oz.
Construction
Handle arms are 303 brushed Stainless steel , fastened to the Head with J/B weld and 4 stainless steel Barrel Bolts .
The handle material and spacer are Green Canvas Micarta fastened to the arms with epoxy and 5/16" stainless Loveless Bolts .
The wider hadle butt is Black Canvas Micarta and Black micarta pins .
The balance point is just forward of the 2nd Loveless Bolt giving great downward striking motion.
G-11 stand included .
