Hi all,

Perhaps not my most exciting finds however, not too bad a deal! I just can't resist a bargain (especially) at fifty cents per knife! Up first : the CASE XX (CAP221 CP) PARING KNIFE.

(Borrowed photo/thank you)

The overall length is 7” with a Blade that is 3.25"
Handle is Rosewood.

The second Knife (I'm LOVING this one for fifty cents) is a vintage GERBER "Balance Plus" 3" Paring Knife.

The Gerber "Balance Plus" 3" Paring Knife has a full tang blade and is made of High-Carbon Stainless Steel. Circa 1980's. No longer in production. The handle had good weight/length and feels/fits nicely in the Hand. The weight of Handel is designed in such a way as to achieve precise balance (hence the name).

Specs: Length overall: 7 1/2" Blade length: 3"
Blade steel: High Carbon Stainless Steel.
Made in the U.S.A.

Heck, I'm thinking I could use this Knife in the Field as it is a rather "Beefy" lil' Knife. I dear say, this is one of the best Dollars (bang for the BUCK) I've spent in a long time.

HARDBALL

Nice score.
I can only see the picture of the Case.

IMHO the 3 to 3.5 inch blade paring knives are the right size. Any longer and they don't look balanced.

I "need" to get one to use as a patch knife when shooting my muzzleloaders.
Of course they also make a great small game, fish, and foul skinner. :)
