Ontario RAT 2 strange logo - original or fake?

I bought an Ontario RAT 2 Orange (AUS 8) knife. Based on all the indicators, it seems genuine, and the knife weighs 78 grams, but I'm concerned about the logo. It doesn't look like the usual one. Please, alleviate my doubts – do I have an original knife, or is it a counterfeit?

If bought from a reputable seller, should be genuine.

The fake ones have a crappy fit & finish most of the time

Also the box has the new company's address, so maybe they also changed the logo a bit on the newer production runs?

Your logo is the original design as is the box.

The newer logo featured a winged “O” and had a black box.

I bought a RAT 1 for a friend of mine and I took it out of the box to change the pocket clip to tip up. I noticed the pocket clip has an "O" on it for Ontario and it says Ontario on the blade. Are these new for this year? I haven't seen the new logos yet, but they are very cool. Let me know if you guys have one of these with the new logos.

Doesn’t the box have the “new” address? That would make it an old logo, in an old box, but with the new address? I’m probably missing something but i it seems strange to me.

Yes that’s odd. It’s definitely the old logo, same as that on my old Rat1. But new company address. A possibility is maybe new production run and OKC decided to revert to using the old logo?

Thank for everybody for responses! I sent a request with a photo to Ontario Knife by email, and I received the following reply:

'This is an original knife. Ontario has been purchased and moved to Virginia.Thank you, Ontario Knife.'

Apparently, they changed the logo due to the sale of the company.

Ah, I just checked my old Rat 1 and found that I’m mistaken. The logo is the same as the one shown in the thread link that Boru posted above (inverted triangle with 2 “wings” each side). So, looks like the plain inverted triangle logo is indeed the new one.
