One of my first pieces of damascus that I couldn't bring myself to throw away. This knife will function as a utility piece if someone can live with some cosmetic defects. There are a couple of what I call "unfortunate hammer blows" that are hard to see in my photos. These are not delaminations and will not effect the integrity of the blade. My usual lifetime guarantee will apply: if it fails and has not been abused I will refund your money.
Approximately 90 layers of 15N20 and 1084 steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 hardness with a fine grain throughout the blade
Stabilized bacote handle
Overall length: 10 1/2 inches
blade: 6 inches
About 1/16 inch at the thickest with a distal taper to the tip
SOLD delivered within the US. My email and PayPal account is gldrewknives@gmail.com
I'm trying to show the defects here on the last two photos in the center of the blade and just ahead of the brass
