For consideration is a perfect example of old meets new. The very classic original with the very new latest upgrade. Call me old school but CRK reached perfection when this knife won the Awards show back in the day. The Umnumzaan in its purest and most perfect form. No Idaho Made stamp, no thinner width redesign on the scales, and no superfluous overtravel blade stop. Just pure CRK beauty and magic. Works too as this is no safe queen but also no real user either. Carried and loved but done so infrequently and always with care. A few carry marks here and there on the handles the majority of which on the pocket clip. The edge has been touched up is very sharp mostly mirror edge and no wear marks or scratches on the blade (have to love that original rough stonewash - thank you Chris Reeve). Lockup is typical late Zaan style at around 75%. Amazingly this is the only Umnumzaan I've come across where the swedge is almost mirror polished, perhaps just a high polished satin but definitely shines. I've owned a handful of Umnumzaans, different years, and none had this very pleasant trait. Stamped the magical year of 09 inside of both scales and original box included. Comes with the V3 ti backspacer by JekylltoHyde designs. This looks quite sharp, and different way of lanyard carry, if that is your shindig. $OLD

Selling V3 Zaan backspacer by itself also. Full machined titanium 1-piece construction (version 3) by Jekyll2Hyde designs. As mentioned above, allows for more versatile lanyard carry, adds a little more grip space to the handle, and matches perfectly with the pivot hardware. Some argue adds a little bit of extra strength and support since larger surface area. Brand New $95 Shipped
