I own a couple of different Tops knives and they haven't failed me yet with all the abuse that I have put them through so I am looking to invest in another one.
One is the Hoffman Harpoon and the other is the Hawks Hellion 2020. Both a great knives. I also own the Buck Hoodlum. Another great knife. Both serve great for what they are and what I bought them to use for.
NOW HERE COMES THE FUN PART: I am getting ready to take a extended backpacking trip through Kentucky hopefully next summer. I am spending this one gearing up for it and training. I am looking to upgrade into more of a machete/chopping capable blade. Of course just about any blade is able to used for hunting so no problem there. The Hoodlum and Hellion are capable of both but not as suited for a long trip. I found out which one's I want but haven't made up my mind yet on what one I want to get for myself for the trip. So Feel free to be opinionated about the two.
P.s. I know people are going to recommend other blades also but these are the two that I intend to stick with for now.
