So I'm thinking about geting a blackhawk crucible 2 in full plain edge and I was wondering what you guys think of this knife and I any of you out there have it could you do a comparison of it in pictures to maybe somethin more well known

I have used, sharpened and torn them down to clean and fix. I own many knives but no Blackhawks. My overall opinion of them was that for the materials used you can get a better knife with better materials for the same or less. Three basic points that hit me.
The steel used, although not bad was not up to the price tag compared to other knives out there.
They use Teflon washers as opposed to bronze, at least the knives I handled, which many knives have bronze at a lower price. I have always preferred bronze. Others say it does not matter. I can buff bronze and make it smoother and faster but not Teflon. As stated some people have no preference or like Teflon better.
They use Teflon coatings on the blade that scratch easily and are removed very easily. Again some people don't care about coatings because they feel all coatings will fade, scratch and be removed. Knives in the same price range with good DLC or anodized coatings actually hold up much better and are very difficult to scratch or remove. It is not a bad knife at all, I just feel you can do better for the same price.

I have a couple of BlackHawk Blades products from before they started making all of them in China or Taiwan, and they are very good. I've got a part-serrated Crucible FX and a Kalista that were both made in Seki. The Crucible FX is VG10 and the Kalista is ATS34. Good materials and the quality is very good. I don't know about their stuff from China or Taiwan.
