Hey guys. I'm looking at the Zero Tolerance 0350 as a EDC knife. Just looking for some opinions from people with experience using the blade for hard daily use. Thanks guys

The 0350 is a wonderful edc knife. I will list the negatives IMO.
Big in the pocket
No deep cary clip
Heavy

Thats it. It is great at everything else.

ITs the gateway knife into ZT, will agree with above statements, it is awesome for daily hard use. You will find yourself looking at the others after you get the 350. 566 will be next then the 560 and or the 562, thats the way it went for me at least.

I really like the ZT0350
I have used it for a couple of year as my EDC and I still EDC it during the summer holidays

You can de assist it if you want to, but for my use I prefer it assisted

It is a bit heavy for it size and I feel better carrying t when I wear jeans or cargos

The ergonomic is good and there is nothing wrong here for me

The liner lock is good. I have chopped some coconuts with it and the lock didn't failed me

I am not a big fan of the pocket clip but that is just me since it fill its function just fine
I would have préfère a more standard footprint for the clip to find more option to replace it but that is not a big deal

The G10 grips are good and grippy.

My only advice will be to check for the weight before buying it

It s a bit heavy for a 3.25 inch blade at 5.5 oz, but not too bad for a very sturdy knife. A great slicer.

the 0350 as stated is wide and heavy. a big knife that gets someone's attention quickly when they see you using it. it is a good tough and dependable edc. have carried one for almost 2 yrs daily, seen a lot of use in that time.

They ended up being too big for me, but they always performed well. I've had several and they are pretty tough. As said above, they're good slicers. If you don't mind the size and weight, they should be fine.

I loved the knife but hated sharpening it on my sharpmaker. I ended up flipping it for a 0566 and recently flipped that for a 0562cf. Even though I have something "better" I sometimes still miss the 0350, kind of like an old ex girlfriend.

There is just something about the 0350 that I love. It may not always be the most practical... but it is tough and rugged. I actually carry it tip down, back right pocket. It carries best that way for me, only knife I do that with. All other are tip up front right pocket.

I love my ZT0350, so much that i have 2. However i think that it's too heavy for its size(7.6" overall) hence not very efficient design and its very broad handle profile creates a lot of hot spots during hard cutting. That's from personal experience of having to dispatch dozens of boxes during moves.

IMO there are other options that's stronger, lighter AND cheaper combined. Here are a couple of examples:

Benchmade/HK 14715
- 8.34" overall, 3.69" blade
- 4.96oz
- D2 steel
- Arguably stronger Axis lock
- Unfortunately discontinued, but i was able to get it for $96

Cold Steel American Lawman
- 8.125" overall, 3.5" blade
- 3.95oz
- CTS-XHP steel
- Arguably stronger Triad lock
- You can find it for as low as $84 right now, with black, brown or green handle

ZT 0350
- 7.625" overall, 3.25" blade
- 6.2oz
- CPM S30V steel
- liner lock
- You can find this for $134 cheapest right now, most expensive of the 3

Great knife, awesome ergos, I don't really care about the weight. Actually I wish the blade was a bit thicker.

ZT 0350 is a mini tank and a testament to its popularity is that they've produced 21 different models throughout the many years (since 2009) it has been and still is in production.

The 0350 was my second ZT after a 0200. It is a classic. For that type of folder, I like the 0909 better.

I have said for years and still believe that the ZT0350 is one of the best knives out the money!

I've had 4 of them and currently have these 3. I sold my stonewashed blade/black G10 to a buddy. I like the design and love ZT in general but never have grown fond of this one for EDC. I'm not sure why but I think it's the assisted opening. I'm just not nuts about assisted openers. I tried deassisting a few but couldn't adjust them to open easily and have solid lockup. I will likely sell the black blade ones and keep the Knife Center exclusive with orange G10 for my ZT collection. Check out the 0909. Mine arrived today and I like it a lot. It is a beast but very well designed. I already carry a 0900 daily and I think the 0909 will replace my 0562 in my bag.

The best thing to do is try one and sell it if you don't like it.

No 0909 photos yet.

The 0200 is a great one too. I think the 0909 fills to spot it left behind pretty well.

The larger 0300 knives upon which the 0350 are based were nice too. I've never carried them though.

Because I love my ZT301 so much, I purchased a 0350. I ended up selling it pretty fast, though. It was a quality knife, but it only felt comfortable in my hand with a hammer-grip (which I rarely use).

the 0350 is available in carbon fiber, not sure how much it lightens the knife but it is available. the Kershaw guy hs them listed.

The 0300 and 0350 were my first ZTs and my intoduction to "overbuilt" folders. I grew rather fond of both of them and can't complain about their performance.

The 350's main drawback is that it's heavy and bulky for the amount of blade it offers. Whether that's an issue for you or not depends on what type of pants you wear and your own personal taste.

My 350 was my first ZT, it's a great knife that I use when I'm working on cars mainly now. it's tough, easy to open one handed and I can sharpen it easily. the weight doesn't bother me as I like the bigger folders, they fit my hand better. It's a good buy in my opinion.

Thanks for all the reply guys. Appreciate it! I have ordered my 0350 and it shall be here today! I'm pumped!
