Options for pens that accept Pilot G2 refills

I currently have a Rotring 600 roller that I use the Pilot G2 refills with, but I am hoping to find some alternatives to the Rotring that will host the G2 refills. I have been looking at the Lamy Swift as a replacement because I like the look of it and the fact that it's capless, but I am not sure whether the Swift accepts the G2. I also have heard that the Waterman Hemishphere CT Rolllerball accepts the G2, but I prefer the click-action capless rollers.

So, what pens do you know of that accept the G2 refills? Does the Swift accept the G2?

All things being equal I prefer capless click-action rollers that have a silver finish. Any recommendations or suggestions?

I had a similar question once and so I emailed Pilot Pens and askedthem. I eventually got a response (which the email gods somehow misplaced) which listed quite a few brands that were compatible with the G2 refill.

Thanks for your response. Don't you remember even one or two of the other pens that Pilot mentioned?

I use the G2 in all my Waterman Rollerballs (much cheaper and easier to find than actual Waterman roller refills) Waterman makes some of the prettiest pens around also. There are my others that will take a G2, just wish there was a way for someone to post a somewhat full list.

A Waterman Roller will take either a extra-fine or a fine Pilot G2 (not sure what mm) and also the Q7 I believe it is needle point. I use both the G2 and Q7 in my Watermans and both work great. I actually prefer the gel ink to the liquid ink in a waterman refill, also the pilots are easier to find and cheaper.

Thanks Steven. I knew about the Waterman from one of your posts in this forum I believe. How is the feel/grip/heft of the Waterman compared to the regular G2?

Unless the Lamy Swift accepts the G2, it appears that a capless clicky might be a dream.

The Lamy Swift does not accept the G2 refills. :(
I just tried it. Like you, I bought the Swift because it was one of the first capless rollerballs but I hated the way it writes. I love my Swift in the lacquer metallic gun metal gray, a very tough finish.
Unless you can dremel the end of the G2 to match the Lamy refills it may work because both refills are the same length.
