I just noticed that Blazer is offering the Original Pocket Torch to the general market once again.

Details at http://www.blazerproducts.com/LighterProducts/

I bought mine in '97 when they were generally available. I still use it regularily to this date, but I've always wanted to get a spare. I recently bought a Z-plus, which I really like, but nothing beats the original PB-207!

Good news!

That is good news! When mine went missing I had to jump through several hoops to get a replacement.

Mike's Cigars used to give these away with the purchase of cigars. I still have three but two are showing signs of dying, they fire but I think they're clogged. I only use Blazer fuel so that is surprising.

I would certainly buy another, best cigar lighter out there.

These have always been readily available, especially the GB-2001. The Snap-On and Mac tool trucks have never been without them as far as I can recall. You must be referring to a local ban on them that may have been recently lifted.

Yup. Up to a few months ago, you had to click on their Industrial page to see the PB-207. It was clearly indicated that it wasn't for retail sales. Most sites that listed the PB-207 mentionned the same thing. It seemed to be readily available in Europe though. My fallback would have been to order one from the UK, but that didn't seem to be the most efficient solution.
