Original Leatherman PST advertising/photos etc?

Might sound weird but I've been trying for a long time to figure out how Tim Leatherman intended the original PST to go into the sheath. Leatherman currently says it doesn't matter, but so much thought went into the original tool that I have to believe there was, at least originally, a "correct" and intended way for the tool to go into the sheath.

Leatherman has no official videos of the tool or any resources that have lead me to any answers.

I have also not been able to find any original advertising, photos, or videos from the 80s/90s showing the tool and/or sheath.

Does anybody know of any vintage photos, advertising, commercials, interviews with Tim Leatherman, an original manual, etc. specifically where the tool is shown in the sheath or shown being put in/taken out of the sheath?

Thanks!
