These don't look all that spectacular to me. They are cheap though. 'Course they could be "cheap" as well.

Might I suggest the Danner Acadias? I wear mine quite frequently. Danner also makes several variations of them.
 
I've got a pair of those, and I must say that they fit my feet well and are quite comfortable. I can wear them all day just fine. I've heard that the soles wear out pretty quick, and my best friend wears his daily and after a year the tread is almost gone. I don't wear mine nearly as much, so it's not an issue for me. New York Clothiers has them for a good price.

I've heard good things about Oakleys, if you're looking for alternatives.
 
Right now I have oakleys(worn over 5 years and counting) but Im looking for something else because originally I wanted the oakley special forces boot but they dont make a mid high boot yet so im looking for alternatives.

SteelDriver - how are your Swats holding up as in do they look "worn" out fast?
 
Actually my friend's boots (with the worn-out tread) look newer than mine, since he cleans and polishes them. The outside of the collar, the toe, and the heel are real leather. I wear mine as work boots, so the toes are scuffed and nicked. I'd say they're just like any other boot in terms of exterior durability. They sides are cordura and they will admit water if immersed, unless you get the waterproof version. Neither of us has had any problems with the boot's construction, it's just that his tread is almost gone because those are almost the only pair of shoes he wears.
