Thought I would share photo of early LaGana fiberglass with heavy leather sheath

I picked up an original LaGana with wood handle and leather sheath at gun show this past weekend. Could post picture is someone could tell me how to do it.

Would like to see photo. Not sure if I could explain how to show a photo but can give it a shot. Start a reply or post scroll down to manage attachments, then go to browse and find photo on your computer. Make sure the photo file is not to large. Then double click on it and attach to your post. Good luck

Whenever I want to post something I bring up the picture on my system, make sure it's smaller than 800x800 and then save it to my desktop so that when I go to upload I can find it quickly.

You have to be in "Go Advanced" and then add the attachment, the little paperclip looking thingy. Click on Browse, find it on your puter and click upload. It'll tell you if it's too big. If it is, make the pic smaller and try again.

Vance, good luck on finding an original. Most are fakes but there are some out there. Make sure it's authenticated.

I had to move up to Basic Member to post picture. Money well spent to keep forum going! This takes a bit to get it to the size that will be uploaded.

Unpainted W/ Natural Sheath 1500 - 2000
Painted W/ Russet Sheath 1400 - 1850
They Do Not Mention The Fiberglass Handle One Which I Was Told
Is The Rarest, Hardest To Find And The Most Expensive.

BEWARE of fakes. There are a lot of fakes out there. I have broken a lot of hearts when I tell someone that their LaGana Hawk is not an original. I was good friends with Peter LaGana and his family and I was the reason that Peter allowed the new American Tomahawk Company to continue the line.

It Is A Good Idea To Have One Authenticated Prior To Paying Beaucoup Bucks For One. Possable People Bobby Branton, Andy Prisco Or Mike Silvey. Check Prior For Approval And Fee's

Thanks, guys, as usual I get my question answered. Bobby, I'll send the fellow your way, if he needs to sell, you'll know him.

Prices on collectables ( LaGana's ). A book can state an items value at a high price, but you have to be able to find a buyer willing to pay that price.

Andy and Everyone.
I sure would like to get some more information about Mr. Lagana's life and ideas. No, I'm not going to write a book on him or his techniques. I'm just curious about what he thought and his insights. The photos you had on ATC site were just fascinating. He obiviously was playing around with some very interesting training techniques/aids. Can you shead in light on this for me.

Dwight, give me a call and I'll hook you up with his daughter. She has all of his stuff. I haven't spoken to her in a while, but she should be able to help you out. I also have another piece of ATC history pre 2001.
A Viet Nam tomahawk made by Tim Zowada that was made for Cold Steel. It is an interesting piece.

BOBBY,
Would you be interested in posting a photo of Tim Zowada Vietnam Hawk. Would be interesting to see.
