This Raptor has a Blemish on the blade, it is a result from texturing to deeply and would not grind out, it will not effect the performance or integrity of the blade and is still covered under my warranty. Due to the cosmetic defect I am discounting the blade 10% if I have no one to take it I will keep it or pass it around.

Are you claiming these Mike? If so they all yours, please confirm.

Yes I am. Payment will be rendered soon as I get home. Thank you
Awesome! Got you down for both, I appreciate it! This is a nice pair to have and would love to hear your thoughts on the contrasting differences on the 2 once you get acquainted with them!

I'm trying to decide if the K2 will benefit me in any way. Chris, what did you say is the main use for the K2?

The K2 is an evolution in design base on the Original Raptor, the K in K2 standing for kitchen and the 2 signifying the 2nd variation in the K Raptor.

The K2 Raptor is optimized for kitchen duty removing the gaurd and changing the handle to blade angle ratio allowing more hand to counter clearence. It also has a more rounded pomel which gives it a more elegant look. IMO

The original Raptor I designed as a B&T/EDC both will excell in this catagory! I would not say one version is better than the other just defferent approches on the same blade.

Speaking as someone with all the current versions of the Raptor, I think the K2 is the one to get if you only pick one.

When I saw the group in today's line-up, I guessed that the Koa K2 would go first. That one is going to make someone a very happy owner. Who is that going to be?

Nice job Chris!

Phil
