I'm looking into some overbuilt custom folders. I want to see what's out there.

That Emerson is clean. Darrel Ralph is badass too, definitely a rockstar blade. Close in size to the Woods Bladeworks that I've seen.

This is one of the only "overbuilt" folders that is truly deserving of that title.

If a knife is running on bearings, to me it's not "overbuilt", it just has an overbuilt aesthetic.

It ain't mine (wish it was )

Andrew Demko is the designer of the Tri-Ad lock, which he has licensed to Cold Steel in addition to some design collaborations. Hence the similarities.

The blade is .220" thick Chad Nichols PD1 core stainless damascus.

and also this... The newer Chaves blades have bearings
The larger Redencion are around $1300 ish when available
The smaller Redencion 228 is a mid tech and is available for around $450

Something from way out of left field (Australia) from about 25 years ago.
Dingo Blades ROK (Rescue Operations Knife). Way overbuilt and bloody heavy.

Demko ad10 as well overbuilt but also can cut. It's about .014 behind the edge.
