I recently got this in for review, thank you GearBest. The Pandora’s Key 5s is a great arcade simulator. I find myself sometimes thinking of all the old games I went to the arcade to play and this beast emulates them very well. The build quality is great, the software runs smooth and it’s a lot of fun to play. It’s internally lit and cooled. The console produces sound independent of your television and when you use both it creates a decent stereo effect. When on it scrolls through different backlighting colors. In the box you’ll find a power cord, 6’ HDMI cable, instructions and extra buttons in case you wear one out.
It came very well packaged and as you can see it offers many input/output options. The sound produced by the console is controllable from the back. It claims to have 999 games and with the exception of a few duplicates I’d say that’s pretty accurate. Included are a ton of games I was looking for Street Fighter, The Simpsons, Mortal Combat, Streets of Rage, TMNT, Marvel Vs Capcom/Street Fighter and tons of other classic games. The best part is there are unlimited continues/credits so you can finally beat the game without spending $25 in quarters, or maybe that was just me.
As you scroll through the games you get a preview which is great because I haven’t heard of some of the games available. It also alllowa for two players to duke it out .It’s a little pricy at $150 but it’s provided several hours of fun and I continue to find new games to occupy me. Overall this is a great addition to my entertainment options.
