Does anyone know if paracord 550 will fit Sebenza's tie bar or scale?

I don't have one with the bar, but it fits through the scale hole. I have it on one of mine.

? Good question. I'm not sure. That would be great if you could. Looking at the cord they are using it doesn't seem like it would work. It doesn't look like you can make the hole in the bar bigger ether. I am going to try once my factory lanyard gives up. I you do it post pics!

Melt the end into a point, and get the cord wet first. I would think that's your best chance.

Makes it a whole lot easier if you gut the 550 cord and cut the end at an angle. Wet it like the others have said and it will go through the lanyard bar. I would melt it after you get it on the bar. Clean it up first because it will fray a bit when you pull it through. Long winded, sorry here's a picture.

It'll go through the tie bar easily if it's gutted, you can get the whole cord through as well, but it's tough. Either will go through the lanyard hole.

Ungutted 550 will fit through pin, first you have to pull the outer cord back about 1 inch, cut the inner strands inside, cut the outer cord end at 45 degrees and melt it with lighter to stop fraying, this will give you a piece of cord with 1 inch section of gutted cord at the end with a sharp point, easy then to pull cord through with pliers.

2.75mm Sterling glo-cord is great. It reflects any light back if you happen to drop your knife at night. I believe it's rated to 275 lbs as well.

It is a lot better and easier when gutted as you stated. I believe the paracord crk uses in their "new" lanyards with the beads is gutted. I have a couple of the newer lanyards from them and you can feel that its gutted with no inner cords. Its kinda easy to tell how tight some of their fancy knots are, you cant get some of those that tight without it being gutted.
