I’d like to share a video of the process of making a lanyard bead. It’s made from bronze and nickel silver. The process is quite labor-intensive, so these beads can definitely be considered custom pieces.

I commend the craftsmanship, but not a lanyard/fob fan, and especially not a fan of turning my knife into a charm bracelet. I can see where a bit of cordage is beneficial in some instances, but for me they get in the way and I have no desire to turn my knife into a designer styled piece like a handbag 👜.

I am a fan of knots however, but only functional knots I might actually need, seems tying nearly any knot other than a granny is lost by the majority today. There is something so satisfying about a clove hitch, looks good without any work, simple as can be, and very useful.

I applaud anyone making something by hand, so 👍🏻.

Great video. I love laynards. I typically remove the pocket clip and add a long lanyard that sticks out of my pocket. I just grab the lanyard end and yank out the knife whenever I need it. No more scratches on the truck from my pocket clips!

I don't have any fancy beads though, just paracord and knots.

Know not, no knots!

The amount of time and steps required to make such a beautiful bead made my head spin. If you were making these to sell, how much would one be given the time and complexity?

To some people, a knife isn't for cutting things. To some, a knife is simply a prop for Instagram pictures.

I think they're cool, yet I don't have any on. A shorter knot fob, I am fond of on fixed blades.

That's beautiful. Neat video.

I dig beads, am unfamiliar with designer handbags, don't much post on Instagram, and use my knives to cut plenty...Don't hate me because I'm beautiful ;)

Many of beads are repurposed items never intended to be lanyard beads, some from my late mother's bead collection. I do have some made for knives, but nothing approaching this level of craftsmanship.

Great Job 👍 Thanks for sharing!
