...made this for my friend Sgt. Mac, uses 12' +/- and no buckles (6' per color). I pre-shrink the cord on bracelets, you should too! I kept three cords on the inside to give it a little girth, this is a man's bracelet after all. standard cobra stitch. did one like it before, but used only two strands inside. it was for my son who is 8.

Nice! How do you preshrink cord?
mm

Nomad, commercial type III paracord will shrink, I like this capability because it lets me get some stuff super tight without straining to do so (i learned the hard way). pre-shrinking includes dumping needed paracord in boiling water for 15 seconds, then leaving by a heat source overnight

I do the same thing, for bracelets or things that need to be fitted, I preshrink. If I'm doing a globe knot or a turks head on something, I'll drop the cord in hot water for a bit and then tie the knot. As it dries, I will shrink into a really nice, tight knot. Depending on what I'm doing, sometimes the added lube of having wet cord helps a bit too.

Is there any way that you could explain or give me a link to show the tying of the button knots that you use on the bracelet? It makes the bracelet so much more finished. Thanks for your time.
