Paracord lanyard/keychain

Let's see if we can get you more business by putting the pics in the post...

They look nice! More than I would want on a knife, personally, but that takes a lot of time and effort to do properly, and they definitely give you something substantial to grab when going for your folder. Nicely done!

Thanks! I really enjoy making them. It takes me about 20 minutes to make each one. I've also been making paracord bracelets and lanyards in different colors. I had bought one on ebay last year and figured I could make those, so I picked up a few knot books and searched a few threads to find out how to tie them. It's not really hard to make them, but it is time consuming. But since I've been sick and out of work for awhile, it gives me something to do. I just upgraded to Gold membership, so I might try selling them in the Exchange area. I'll see if I can post some examples of what I've learned to make so far. I like the black/olive drab with the white skull bead the best. I sent a bunch over to some soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq in care packages thru the Anysoldier.com program.

Stomdrane,

Great pics, I am deffinately going to order some from you, but you just made it harder by showing me so many cool choices also really liking some of those other beads you have on some of them. I will be e-mailing you with questions in the next few days. :)

Where do you get the skull beads? I have a hard time finding them and when I do, they seem rather pricey.

I've found most of them on ebay. Do a search for 'skull beads' and 'day of the dead skull'. The thing is, the hole for the paracord(gutted) needs to be at least 4mm wide for you to be able to put the bead on the lanyard. There are a lot of different beads, glass, bone, pewter, resin, but the holes in them are smaller and set up for string. The small pewter skulls I ordered only have a small hole on each side of the skull, so I have to drill each one thru the top, it's a little bit of extra work. The white resin/acrylic skull beads have a large enough hole so that's what I use most often and they're fairly inexpensive. T.A.D.gear has some pewter skulls, $4 each currently out of stock, a guy on USN forums sells some in pewter and silver, his go fast, late Sept till his next batch.

Those are cool, and I think it would be nice to have hanging out of one's pockets. Doesn't alert sheeple, and you can still have ready access to a folder or pocket FB.

I just recieved my 5 paracords from David and they are very nice. He also put in an extra bonus . They are well worth the money and the service is tops. Quality product, great service and a very reasonable price, what more can you ask for.
