image.jpeg Could someone please explain to me how to attach these to a knife with lanyard hole? Thanks.

They look like keychain rings that you can "split" and coil through a lanyard hole. It would have to be a fairly short distance between the lanyard hole and the edge of the handle though for these to work.

Not sure to be quite honest...that is a whole lot more lanyard than I would ever use on a traditional knife.

I'll generally put a lanyard on anything that will take one, but usually smaller - just to aide in fishing it from a pocket or slip.

Okay, I can't stand it. None of those things is a lanyard. They are all fobs.

I'll shut up and leave you alone now.
No reason to shut up or leave. :)

You are correct about them being fobs.
I dunno why people have such a difficult time telling them apart. A lanyard connects to the whatever (knife, pocket watch, wallet ...) and the belt or belt loop, so you can't lose the whatever. :)

Are these listed as being for knives ?
They look like they're for keys to me, but I can't imagine why the cord lock would be on it.

So, whats the split ring for?
The split ring is for having a point to work from when making the fob AND the split ring ensures, that the 'tail' of the paracord fob (the paracord in the ring) doesnt slip up through the body of the paracord fob and make it unravel … if that makes any sense.
