Ok, I've got 3 days of playing with this one...

Initial review(20min since I grabbed the mail):

Edge:
paper slicing edge, not shaving sharp... VG-10 isn't too hard to change though.

Heft:
I like the heft on this one. Enough to let you know you have it.

Handle:
*lacks a choil
*seems too thin(spine to belly) for me
*nice length

Sheath/Rig:
*snaps in easy
*a bit hard to get out due to lack of grip(thins as it gets to the bottom)

Lockup:
*hits approx 3/4 of the way across
*2-3mm of vertical movement, putting force on the spine(enough I'd either tinker or send in)

Overall:
This is going to be interesting review. Many like the Lum Chinese, but I think it'll have to grow on me as it doesn't appeal to me right away(unlike the salsa). Just means I'll have to give it kitchen duty as well as at work. See just what this one'll do.
