I would like to claim this. I have a Cold Steel Swift I will put up that was acquired earlier in this thread. It is a really nice folder in a great steel and actually became my daily carry until I got a Benchmade Contego for father’s day. I no longer have a need for it.

Hey hey! I thought I'd give it a couple weeks in case others wanted to claim this... But IF it's ok with you, I think I'd like to claim this for my niece. Her 10th Birthday is coming up on September 23rd (day after my wedding!) and she has a Halloween camping trip with her troop towards the end of October. I also found out that she didn't lose the Duke 500 I picked up for her. She was really excited for her last camping trip, packed a few weeks early and forgot she had packed the knife, lol. If she gets the Juni, I'm going to see if she'd pass the Buck down to her little sister.

If you decide you would like the Juni to go to someone who actually has their OWN kids, I would COMPLETELY understand!

How well does the swift fill the hand? I'm looking for a hard-use folder for bringing into the woods and I currently have a kizer escort for the intended purpose after finding out the my CS broken skull is far too thin to push into wood comfortably. Same thing with the lawman I wanted for the same purposes. I would carry my millie but I have fears of the tip breaking off.

It has a thicker handle that fills the hand. It does seem more geared to rough use, it has a saber grind and has a thick tip on it.

There is a trick to opening it though! Use the tip of your thumb on the stud, not the pad of the thumb. Using the pad results in landing our thumb on the very sharp edge. It only takes a couple flicks to get used to it.

It's perfect for hard use. The handle is contoured and pretty thick. Comparable to a lot of smaller fixed blades. Like a Mora companion with a slightly smaller palm swell.

I would like to claim the swift if a used kizer escort is an acceptable PIF. I will get new photos when I get time (stcok photo from BHG).

I have an AirSOG folder that needs a new home so it is becoming a PIF.

For those of you that have never heard of an AirSog, it's a super lightweight folder that SOG offered about 25 years ago, back when SOG was having knives made in Seki, Japan. Let's see...how else can I describe it? Picture a lightweight version of SOG's early Tomcat. That's close. They are becoming kind of collectible. Neat little knife.

I love the grip on this guy but, I rarely carry knives with clip point blades anymore. Besides, I have two more knives that fill the same role as this one so I don't think it will be missed very much. I don't think it has seen even one week of pocket time in the last 5 years.

So, if you could use a lockback clip point folder that offers an amazingly neutral grip, this is your chance. Plain edge. No box or sheath. Will combine with any other items I have up as a PIF, if desired.

Will ship for free within the US. Contact me for shipping elsewhere. We'll work something out.

If this does not work out, let me know. I might have something that would work for your niece. If nothing else, I have a Wenger SAK and a Browning fixed blade both up for grabs.

    my offer
Set of Kershaw Injections - 3.0 and 3.5, Schrade USA SP3, A Lansky 4 pack sampler from post #490

has been hanging out there for a while with no bites, so if it pleases the masses - I'll switch out to a Kizer Velox 2 - VG-10 with G-10, flipper, linerlock
I purchased this knife new a little less than a year ago, and carried it for light use edc until I claimed the spydie back in May. here is a stock pic, but I'll grab some real pics of the Kizer and post them up.
