Peace Keeper I Question

A few years ago I bought a new in the box Peace Keeper 1. Now I wish it was a vg-1 steel model but for what I paid, I'm sure it's not. It is stamped china and the box has #39lpd. Could someone tell me if the steel used is 4.116 Krupp or maybe 420hc. Also the years the Chinese ones were made. Thanks.

The Peace Keeper I in the 2007 catalog is 39LPKD and is Krupp 4116. That seems to be the only year that had a model number beginning with 39...before and after that year it began with 10. For example, in 2005 it was 10DT and was bead-blasted 420...in 2010 it was 10DSM and San Mai III.
