I saw this online and it looked pretty interesting......I remember years ago this company making heavy duty cases for photo and tv equipment........anyone out there own one?

I'm a diabetic and looking for something to carry around all my crap (insulin, needles, alcohol wipes, glucose meter, etc etc) around in...I currently have a fabric bag that is falling apart

plus ....these have a lifetime warranty and they are around $20 on ebay......I think I might get one

the pelican cases are very well made, i have a larger one that i use to store ammo, and i have handled those smaller ones and they are very high quality. i think it would work very well for your intended use, and like you said they have a great warranty.

I'm also a diabetic and I use the 1040 Micro Case in black by Pelican. I bought some foam and and glued it on the inside bottom and top cover. I keep several needles, 2 viles of insulin as well as my glucometer and test strips. everything fits real nice and snug and it's very very safe in there as well.

going away for the weeknd to the mountains climbing and camping it's important for me to have all this everywhere and I need it to be strong and safe so nothing gets broken. till this day I have dropped it and rolled it down a hill while in my backpack and nothing broke.

You won't go wrong getting one. as a matter of fact grab several, they always come in handy.

The only problem with Peli Cases is... Wanting more!

I started of with seventeen of 'em, and now have over thirty, plus several Otter Boxes and Outdoor Products Cases, they're just so useful!

I have a 1030, it's perfect for taking a couple cigars in tubes on trips :)

thanks everyone....I told my wife about them and she's like..."oh yeah, everyone (she is heavily into kayaking) I know uses those on the water"........its like...wtf???...I am always the last to find out about this stuff....I gotta start going to the meetings or something.....;]

TKAZ - thanks for confirming my thinking that it would be good for the diabetic supplies, I will get some foam and do the same thing

I just ordered a 1060 to use a travel case when I want to care a couple of spare watches.
