pen ink that prevents check washing

I have two of the Premiers. To me it writes like a Parker Jotter with the Gel Refill. Very smooth. Much better than a G2. Mainly use it for writing checks, signing official documents, etc.

The UniBall 207's are all I use when I'm writing out checks and doing the bookwork at home.

I thought that was the big difference between rollerball and ballpoint. Ballpoint is oil based and can be check washed but doesn't dry out when you leave the cap off. Rollerball ink is water based and can't be check washed but dries out if you keep the cap off.

I have some 207s, then write pretty nicely. I got them for the reason you're looking at them, they did really well in some check-washing test I saw somewhere or other.

I use a Rotring 600 Rollerball for the very few checks I write anymore. Anybody know what type ink that is?
