I unfortunately have at this point only handled the shark, however i have handled a very large variety of concealable bladed weapons and the shark is very accesible to be quickly deployed. I have a small peice of 550 chord attatched to the handle and that is what i use to draw the knife i carry it hidden almost completley behind my belt. a quick tug of the chord and my pointer finger finds the hole naturally locking the knife into my grip.
Also the the knife can be held reverse with middle finger through the hole and the blade draped across the ring finger, a punching motion in that manner could cause grevious damage to an attacker.
The knife has proven to be a great utility knife as well its small size and concealability lend it well to utility tasks in public places where it is not prudent to be waving a blade around.
The knife is insanley sharp out of the box, and really the only problem i have had is that the sheath is just a smidgen to loose and i feel it would not retain it during neck carry, this is a minor problem and im sure could be easily remedied but i like the relative loosness as i can subtley and quietly draw the knife. i dislike neck carry for a variety of reasons. but mainly its very hard to discretley lift your shirt its kind of a red flag.
Im impressed enough that im going to get a custom shark from szabo and take advantage of the d2 steel. besides mr perrins work has a certain life to it that cant be explained.
Its always humbling to hear form the designers themselves, its what makes bladeforums so awesome.
