  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I love my tikka but it does have it's shortcomings. It seems like it would have been simple to make it waterproof, I tooks some clear silicon and filled in all cracks except the switch that needs to move. Can't hurt and it might help.

While I like the light weight I missed having the middle headstrap. I didn't want a headstrap as that would have made it more bulky, the whole reason I got it was it's compactness. I used a thick brown string and made my own middle headstrap. The light stays in place on my head with no slippage and I can hardly feel the string. It adds no bulk either.

I like the Tikka a lot but I recently got a Princetontec Aurora and noticed a couple small advantages. It's more waterproof and you can tilt the beam down so you don't have to be nodding while eating. Unfortunately, it is a little heavier than the Tikka. The Tikka is incredibly light with great battery life.
