Looks like it will make a great addition to the kitchen knives. Made in Japan, and love the hammering on the blade.

Also found a Nikiri and Sashimi in the same handle type to make a matching set. Sharp well made knives of this type and not made in China!

Holy crap is this Deba sharp, been using it in the kitchen and wow, this thing will bite you if you are not careful when dicing. Probably the sharpest kitchen knife in the block.
