Please show us pictures of your Kukri or large chopper in the wild...

I'd like to see Kukri, etc. performing work.

Some photos of my Dui Chirra in action during a small hike in the woods behind my house.

Excellent, this is exactly what I had in mind...

I just signed up for a membership, will be posting pics soon.... I just cut down a dead tree in the front yard...

Beautiful Kukri...

20" Ang Khola is a great knife as is the above mentioned.

others include:
Samsher
Super CAK
25" Magnum AK
M43
sure is missed a bunch?

ASTK and Chitlangi
The Chitlangi is far superior for chopping IMO. The weight is better, the balance is better, the blade is longer and swings harder, the blade is also a hair thinner and has a better distal taper which helps with cutting.

...
You forgot...and they're purdy as heck! Careful with the edge on harder dried woods. You can roll the edge if you put too much into it since the edge is thinner. Dont look like you have a problem there tho. Use the CAK for the hard stuff. Grats on some nice toys!

Hmmm? That looks more like an ASTK than a CAK? Maybe some ASTK owner can verify that. CAK has fullers? Beautiful knife nonetheless.

Cul that is some neem wood on that AK. It looked nothing like that till I polished it up and blo'd it up. Man did the colors come out then. Its got green blue and reds. I think I got real lucky on that one! Still one of my favorites.

Darth: I finally got me one of them Purna DC's! Awesome blade! Always like the shape of yours:thumbup:

That neem is really unique. Quite a gem!

I agree with ndog, looks like an ASTK to me, and a beautiful one at that!

Now to deal with the OP. Ask and you shall receive :)

Trail clearing with the Tamang

Vine clearing with the AK Bowie

Chewing up boxes with the Reti

Making stew by candlelight with my SG Chef's Knife

Kumar Karda vs Pineapple

Carving the Thanksgiving bird with a KLVUK

More Tamang Action, pre forge scale removal

And a quick Dui Chirra shot

Don't have pix of my M-43 in use, mostly because I'm so amazed by it still that I forget to take pictures of what I'm doing. But it's built an 18' wooden bridge in the woods with the help of my other KLVUK and is now my go-to blade.

Made by Tirtha it looks like. Variation of a farm knife if you ask me. Oh nobody asked me...........

Very cool knife. Definitely Tirtha. Looks like an AKB but with lots of drop. Id love to have one of them. Looks like a heck of a chopper:thumbup:

Psh! You can answer any unspoken questions as much as you would like! :p
Especially if you know something I don't, because I would love to learn more things about what I and others have in their collection.

Sharing is caring as they say.

Thank you for that.

I attempted to send a PM or email to you but see you don't have either activated.
