Over the years there have been some knife hatchet combos from various manufacturers that share a matching handle. I'd like to see some pictures of them. I've always been intrigued. To get started the Buck Brahma set. Not mine, taken from a thread on another forum. The hatchet in this set is limited production. They did not come in a piggyback sheath. Thanks. The Buck Sportsman’s axe 106. (Circa 1967-ish) Matches every black phenolic Buck sheath knife. The knives in this picture are my oldest 100’s around the same period

This one is different. A knife with a hatchet handle. I've always wanted one of these knives finally found one in the right condition and price. IMG_5691.jpegIMG_5692.jpegIMG_5693.jpeg
I always thought these knife handles were more or less the same size as the hatchet handles. Now that I have it in hand, it is obviously downsized. But the same construction. Even though the hatchet is a lot newer.

Not an axe, but in the same vein, this Rinaldi Sorrento billhook has the same stacked leather handle as the Rinaldi Forest Knife. The smaller Due Cigni (Two Swans) billhook looks like it could share some DNA with the Rinaldis.
