At last. :D Great review as always, makes me want these balis even more. Thanks Chuck.

Are the pins different from the 42? They look a bit different.

Great review :)(again)

Looks great, can't wait to grab'em!
I do think it's a little boring that they used the same tanto shape as the recent custom run (Elishewitz grind pattern) as i'd like to see something different, but i really like that pattern.

I neeeed!'em!

Chuck, your review makes me want to go out, sell my car, and buy a 43 AND a 47. :D

Thanks for keeping the rest of us informed and educated, BTW...

Wonderful review! And I even learned a new word - Chiol :) However impossible it may be, I'll try to use that word at least 3 times today :p

Time to start selling my plasma again. Hehe.. trading blood for blades... how poetic.

Thanks Chuck! Your review, as always, was very informative. You are also, without a doubt, the best balisong photographer. Your pictures are very clear, clean and show every detail. Thanks for the great pictures and thank you for the 1200x1600 wallpaper! It looks great!

Thanks for such a great review Chuck. I really can't wait for my 43 and 47A any longer now. I'm going to leave for work now and await the UPS truck.;)

The 42's have been coming with that little "42" on the tang stamp for a while. Mine already has it, and I've had mine for about 9 months.

The master comes through once again!! Great work Chuck! I also learned a new word today, and love the pics!! Especially that one you placed in the thread. I say BM ought to use it to advertise their bali's of the 21st century! Anyway, a few minor typos and you also called the 43A a 43AS by accident i think, but incredibly work as always...thanks!!!

[Dave checks his blade...] Yup, there's a little 42 right below the thorax of the Butterfly logo.

:( I have a 42 that I bought a year ago and a 42S that I purchased about8 months ago. Noneof them have a 42 on them.:(

.............................whoa........

okeydokey, the list of expenses just increased $300
-Gamecube and two games: $300-$350
-Replica Graflex and conversion kit: $200
-EL blade: $100
-BM43 & 47: $300
-Gameboy Advance: $150

damn I need money

Thanks for the excellent reviews. Looks like Benchmade has once again come up with a couple of winners.

Thanks for the great pictures and reveiws. I just ordered mine today from Northwest Cutlery and now I am getting even more anxious to have it.

Thanks for the review. Since you don't like the tanto blade style, I'd be happy to trade a genuine, heavily used, very much abused black-handled jag for it. :D

Thanks for the many compliments.

I've bought five or six 42s in the last few months. The one in the pictures for the review was purchased just days ago. No 42s on mine. I guess I'm just getting old stock. Well, you can see that my prediction came true even before I predicted it. Am I good or what?

Anyway, I added a couple more pictures yesterday showing the spines of the new blades. I wanted to have them in the first time, but they just didn't show up well against the black background. So, I redid 'em on a red background. Much better.

Very cool Gollnick! Thanks. I would have ordered a 43 but my MT LCC D/A came in and has reminded me of the knives that I have purchased recently, very expensive. :( I'm not sure if I'll get a 47 (maybe eventually but it's not on my top 5 list right now).
