I do think it's a little boring that they used the same tanto shape as the recent custom run (Elishewitz grind pattern) as i'd like to see something different, but i really like that pattern.

The 42's have been coming with that little "42" on the tang stamp for a while. Mine already has it, and I've had mine for about 9 months.

I've bought five or six 42s in the last few months. The one in the pictures for the review was purchased just days ago. No 42s on mine. I guess I'm just getting old stock. Well, you can see that my prediction came true even before I predicted it. Am I good or what?

Anyway, I added a couple more pictures yesterday showing the spines of the new blades. I wanted to have them in the first time, but they just didn't show up well against the black background. So, I redid 'em on a red background. Much better.

Very cool Gollnick! Thanks. I would have ordered a 43 but my MT LCC D/A came in and has reminded me of the knives that I have purchased recently, very expensive. I'm not sure if I'll get a 47 (maybe eventually but it's not on my top 5 list right now).
