This is also work. Most of us carry the Green River Dive Knife. There is also a version of it made in NZ. called Victory. They are inexpensive and serrated and make short work of hemp and polypro rope. If you need to cut a mooring rope out of a prop, nothing beats about a half dozen cheap serrated steak knives from the galley.
