I had a bit of free time to play around in the shop today, and spotted a narrow piece of 5160 that screamed "grind me"!

I have had a lot of requests for hawkbill blades for defensive purposes, and came up with the following design on the spot.

The blade is rough ground, and I had just began tapering the tang. The blade tapers from 1/4" down to 1/8", making it very light. The handle is a little longer than usual so that it could be used as an impact tool.

This one is double hollow ground, and I'm thinking about zero grinding it. I'll probably change the grind a bit and adjust the swedge. I'm definitely going to use my hybrid (think full height hollow) grind on this one.

I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do with this one. I may change up the design; not sure.
