Please Help Me Identify

Please help me with this set I just inherited. I read that the lion head is British, but the other parts appear German or European to me. No markings are visible. Thank you.

Thats the problem. No marks at all. I would love to know country of origin and if the lion head is somthing particular to a specific maker, country, or time period? Thanks.

There is a proof mark legend and I possibly think a Lion in a stamp means Great Britain , it's been a few since I saw it and yours is on the pommel, still my guess is GB.
